Junglist Manifesto Recordings began in 2009 as a way to release a large catalog of Chili Banks & Moh Pai dubplates. The idea was to release all of these one off tunes that were made for specific parties and dubplates which had been produced over the previous decade. Both artists are heavily influenced by the Original Jungle sounds of yesteryear. Branding the labels style "True School" it has gained a following across the globe and grown to include a number great artists. The first 40 tunes were released all at once.

Moh Pai is a Toronto native, currently living in the US. Moh has been a member of the DnB scene and its roots since 1993. Trained as a drummer, Moh began to develop a unique sound in the studio. For more then a decade, Moh has produced many tracks, released on promo, on plates, and on vinyl through Top Shotta Recordings.

Moh Pai's sound is known for its heavy yet logical breaks along with heart pounding bass lines. While hosting a radio show and promoting his vinyl release "New Dawn," he was commissioned to produce the soundtrack for a national television show: "Canadian Desi." The music for the show needed to represent a clash of cultures, and was produced as a fusion of classic South Asian thematic elements with deep bass lines and syncopated beats. With such a large endeavor underway, Moh left the radio and put aside his Drum'n'Bass releases for a time.

Moh Pai is once again entering the studio, and has many new releases planned for the upcoming future with a refined sound and fresh approach.

Chili Banks' passion lies in Producing and Djing Jungle. Chili's passion began with late 80's Hip-Hop when he fell in love with the art of sampling and beat making. In 1994 he was drawn into Toronto's emerging underground rave scene. As the years past, he has worked as a Promoter, DJ, & Artist.

In 1998 he began producing his own brand of Jungle/ Drum & Bass. Some still describe his style as "Old School". He believes in the sound that he grew up on, call it what you will "Old School" or "True School" to him it's simply JUNGLE. Heavily edited drum breaks and sub-basslines are a must. Finding interesting and dynamic samples is just par for the course. His sample database continues to grow on a daily basis.

Over the past 15 years Chili has played at various clubs across Toronto, and throughout Ontario, as well as on the other side of the world in K.L. Malaysia. In 2010 Chili has been playing in Edinburgh, (UK) for Xplicit @ their huge Jungledub nights.

In 2006, he began the event promotion company Science Productions, along with DJs Ghaleon and Basketballjones to promote the true Jungle sound old and new with "We're Old School" and his own "Children of the DrumS" parties. He has worked along side some of the worlds elite DJs and Producers, promoting good Jungle.
